Fort Worth Stockyards

The Fort Worth Stockyards is a historic district in Fort Worth, Texas. It was formally a livestock market, which began operations in 1866. Today it is the last standing stockyards in the United States and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The area features entertainment and shopping venues, as well as a rodeo and cattle drives.
